Revlon Star

Hello! I have just a couple swatches here today. I picked up Revlon's Star in a haul a while ago and decided to try it out and see how dense the glitters are. (forgive my stained nails) :

One coat

two coats

three coats

three coats again

As you can see, it is pretty build-able. This is definitely something that would look great over some other colors.
The formulation is not too bad, it was a bit difficult to get the hexagonal glitters though. I felt I had to try pretty hard to get the brush to catch onto the bigger glitter pieces. It did glide on pretty smoothly and again, I think would look great over some colors.

What do you guys think?

Nubar 2010!

Oh hello there lovely readers! I will definitely be at least a little bit less absent in the next coming days/weeks. I have some things lined up! ;) YAY. finally. haha Okay! So here is the famous Nubar 2010

I put two coats of Nubar 2010 over two coats or ELF's Black
This was probably my first nail polish that I specially sought after and bought online. I've seen so many pictures and drooled over for so long before I allowed myself to justify the cost. It wasn't all too expensive, but the cost of shipping along with the actual price of the bottle is still more than if I went to the store to by the polish (obviously..). But, NO REGRETS! Definitely not, it is absolutely gorgeous!!

I don't have the Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, so I can't compare them, but I have definitely seen swatches and comparisons of them and they look pretty similar. What do you guys think of this polish?

I Sea some Corals

Hello everyone! Yet another puny title :)
Today I have such a pretty mani to show you guys! Really loving this combo. And of course, more blue for this month to bring the awareness of Autism. :)

Here I have two coats of China Glaze's Sea Spray and on my accent nail I have two coats of Orly's Gilded Coral. I absolutely love both colors so much. And the formulation was pretty good. Had not trouble with the application.

Greeness!

Hello everyone!
As most of you know, today is 4/20, I thought I would put up a mani that SEMI resembles the day. I actually don't condone this day, and am personally pretty grossed out by the smell, but to each his own, I guess.

So here is a mani I actually did not really enjoy. It's funny too because I've eyed these two colors for such a long time because I decided to throw in the towel to buy them, but they were a bit of a disappointment.

Here we have two coats of O.P.I's Jade is the New Black and on my accent nail (ring finger) two coats of Essie's Incognito

I think it could just my skin color. Or maybe I'm just not use to wearing darker greens. Or maybe..both? Either way, I just felt unsettled when I had this mani on. I might go back to these colors in a bit, because I know that there are some colors that I love now that I didn't like a couple months/years ago.

Sally Hansen HD: Laser

Hello! I have yet another blue mani for this awesome month for Autism Awareness Month!

Here I have four coats of Sally Hansen's Laser. Definitely an awesome color. It was a tiny bit hard to work with partially because it was so thick and partially because it wouldn't really dry due to the amount of coats I put on. But still, what a lovely color!!

This mani Blue My Mind!

Oh man! I am just so punny!! I crack myself up all the time :)

Okay, so as you can guess the mani I have for you today is a very blue mani! As most of you know, this month is Autism Awareness Month, and the color to represent Autism is blue. Here is what I have:

excuse the tip wear: pic taken a week after mani
On my nails I have: two coats of O.P.I: Blue My Mind and on my accent nails I have 4 coats of Orly's Winter Wonderland. I absolutely love the colors individually and the combination today. I apologize that the picture isn't the best with the flash, but it was night time.

The gold stars just add even more awesomeness to this mani :)

China Glaze Frostbite

I'm back!! wohoo!! I do apologize once more for not being more active. But I do want to try to start posting more! Wish me luck!

This month is Autism Awareness Month and the color that represents that is blue! So here is a mani I really like!

I'm not sure why I posted both pictures up, they kind of look exactly the same. haha But I always love lots of pictures on other people's blog, so I guess two is better than one. Ignore the tip wear, I think I've worn this mani for about a week before I remembered to take a picture of it.

On all my nails except my accent nail is China Glaze: Frostbite and my accent nail was kind of inspired by Chloe's Nails on her Dorothy & Her Diamond Necklace post quite a while ago. I really like the way she put China Glaze's Dorothy Who over black, so that's what I did. On top of that, I put Boundless Color: Gold Rush, just to be more glittery. I actually really enjoyed how this turned out, and got quite a few compliments on it, which is always a plus!

Hope you guys are all doing well!
